Editorial policy
Rural Training Journal aims to publish clear, useful writing about learning and training in rural settings. We make our reasoning visible, correct errors when they are found and label material that has a commercial relationship.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, descriptions and factual claims before publication and revise wording when it could mislead. Where an idea is a suggestion rather than an established fact, we say so. Readers can report possible errors through the Contact page.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to readers, not to secure a favourable mention for a product or service. A partnership does not give a partner control over independent editorial coverage.
Corrections
When a factual error is confirmed, we correct the affected text and make the change clear where appropriate. Reports should identify the article and explain the issue; use the Contact page to send them.
Commercial material and illustrations
Paid placements, sponsored writing and other material created as part of a commercial collaboration are labelled clearly. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; captions or nearby notes identify them when relevant.
